MAC Objects Of Affection

Well MAC’s Heirloom Mix Christmas Collection is still available (but limited edition!) so I want to show you the gem that I got.

MAC Objects Of Affection - Gold + Beige Pigments + Glitter. It includes four pigments and one glitter. The formula of all except from the glitter (you get fallout) is easy to blend and are long-lasting. You can apply it to get a wash of color or really build it up to get an intense effect. I usually find the best luck in pouring a little bit oft the pigment into the cap. Hint: apply it with a dampened brush – just spray a little Mac Fix + on the brush.

It’s a peachy nude with a light gold shimmer and a yellow-undertone.

2. Pigment: English Gilt

It’s a bright champagne with a golden bronze shimmer and warm undertones.

3. Pigment: Pretty It Up 

It’s a dirty olive with pearl and a bronze-gold shimmer with a hint of khaki and olive.

4. Pigment: Gold

It’s a sparkly chunky gold glitter.

There's also something similar but it's a palette. The shades are neutral and so buttery soft. Perfect for traveling and the packaging is stunning.

The Stars Of Dior

I always get so excited when I get new makup-up that’s really doing it’s job. So here are my 3 favourites from Dior which are my stars of the brand! 

As the name „Dior Star Foundation“ says – it really is a star! The coverage is buildable and it’s leaving a light sheen on the skin, which doesn’t make you look greasy even if you have oilyer skin like me (combination skin). It also lasts all day long and you don’t even need to set it with powder. Colour-wise there’s a good range. I have the colour Nr. 021 Linen. Well, the bottle is so luxe! You get what you pay for.

I’ve always loved Dior Mascaras but the "Diorshow Iconic Overcurl" in Nr. 090 Catwalk Black is amazing! The shape of the wand is curling, lenghtening and sperating the lashes and you don’t even need to curl your lashes (FYI I have very short lashes). It really lifts the lashes so it suits most people. Most importantly it doesn’t budge at all. 

Now with the colder weather my lips are very dry and I don’t like wearing lipbalm without colour in the daytime. So the Dior „Rouge Dior Baume“ in Nr. 688 Diorette is perfect. It’s so moisturizing and doesn’t feel sticky on the lips. The colour is suttle but it enhances your complexion.

Like I’ve already mentioned I like to use moisturizing products on my lips in the colder moths. So the "Dior Addict Fluid Stick" in Nr. 373 Riesue is a mix of a lipgloss and a lipstick. It last longer that a lipgloss and looks like a lipstick when the gloss fades. And it’s not sticky!!! So it’s also a star from Dior.

Chanel Christmas Collection

I love Christmas beauty releases! Almost every brand seem to be bringing out their best products! Let’s start with my favourite collection, it’s the CHANEL Collection „Plumes Précieuses de Chanel“.

The most beautiful product of the collection is „Camélia De Plumes“. I saw it in a video on youtube and had to run to the Chanel counter in Zurich and get it. It’s a highlighter (that is NOT glittery) with beautiful embossing of a flower. It’s totally wearable but also perfect for the festive season. The packaging is very chic and you also get a little brush. So if you also like beautiful, special make-up pieces go and get it because it’s limited edition.

I always apply a light coloured eyeshadow or eyeliner in the inner corners of my eyes to brighten up and to make them appear bigger and more awake – even if I haven’t had enough sleep. The waterproof eyeliner „stylo yeux in or blanc“ is from the same range as the highlighter. The golden shade makes my eyes sparkle and it’s perfect for Christmas partys. But keep in mind it’s also limited!!! 

I also got an lip gloss the „rouge allure gloss in extase“ but it’s not limited edition! YAY! Now with the colder season my lips are always very dry and need so much moisture. It’s perfect for plumper, juicy looking lips. The color is very similar to my natural lipcolor and when the gloss fades - it leaves a nice stain. But I’ve to addmit that it’s a little bit sticky but this means it’s mega hydrating.

Bobbi Brown Christmas Collection

A new release of Bobbi Brown is the limited edition „Warm Glow Eye Palette“.

The packaging is beautiful!!! It’s brown fake-croc leather with an golden edge and it just feels so luxurious. 

The neutral palette contains 3 matte and 6 shimmery shades. A light matte colour (flesh) to highlight your browbone, a matte beige colour (beige) to define your crease and a matte black colour (rich caviar) to make it all more smokey. To make it all more sparkley on the eyelid there are the 6 shimmery shades (golden pink, bonfire, rosé, gold, velvet bronze and golden bronze).

With this palette I’ll definitely rock a christmassy smockey eye. It’s gorgeous go and get it now, because it’s almost sold out at every Bobbi Brown counter that I’ve been.

New Pics From Maybelline, Clinique & Dior

1. The new Maybelline Colorelixir Lipgloss in "710 Rose Redefined" is my new favorite lipproduct. I'm so impressed how good the color matches my lips and makes them look fuller and glossy. The formula is amazingly comfortable on the lips - it's not sticky at all and just feels like a balm. Because it's so moisturizing it doesn't cling to dry patches and the lastingpower is even better than I've expected it to be. I'm definitely gonna try out more of the 11 shades.

2. The new Chubby Stick Cheek Colour Balm from Clinique (in "Rhobust Rhubarb)" are worth the hype. The creme formula makes them so easy to apply, you don't even need brushes, just use your fingers. They're perfect for girls who don't have time in the mornings to be bothered by blending (like me).

3. The Mascara of Dior called "Dior Iconic Overcurl" in "Nr. 090 Catwalk Black" is super volumizing, lengthening and curling the lashes. I, personally have short lashes and it really makes them look like flash lashes. I would recommend it to everyone it's my new favorite Mascara, I even like it more than the Mascara of "YSL" call "Shocking".

Yves Saint Laurent - Volupté Sheer Candy

Yves Saint Laurent products are just amazing! My lips are always really dry and if I use a matte lipstick which are drying out because of the high pigmentation makes my lips looking so horrible. You can see the dry patches through the lipstick and that's a totally no-go.

I got the YSL 'Volupté Sheer Candy' in Nr. 1 - Lush Coconut. It's also called a glossy balm and it really is. When you put it on it's so smooth and nourishing, it almost feels like a lipgloss. And the color is so beautiful. The pigmentation is sheer (like the name's telling) but so shimmery. The application is so easy you don't even need a mirror. You just need one swipe and you're good to go.
The formula claims to contain a lot of vitamins and antioxidants so it's also a little treatment for your lips. The scent of the lipstick is also very nice. It smells like all the other lipglosses and lipsticks.

Finally the packaging is just so beautiful!! I mean look at the photo. It looks so luxurious and almost artful. I highly recommend this lipsticks if you want like an everyday-lipstick which is nude but also looks girly and gorgeous.

Clinique 'superdefense SPF 20'

I have combination skin, it tends to get very oily in the t zone and it also gets very dry patches around the nose, the eyes and the neck.

I've tried out many high end and drugstore products, but my sky was so dry and I couldn't get rid of it. Because I'm a big fan of Clinique-products I went to the perfumery and wanted to see what the offer for dry combination skin. The shop assistant recommended me the new Clinique 'superdefense SPF 20' (skin type 3,4) . Well, I read so much about it and there was so much advertising so it totally convinced me.

After I first put it on my skin was so smooth and the really dry patches almost disappeared. The consistence isn't greasy and sticky at all. My oily t zone doesn't gets more oily and it's no clogging up my pores. I use it in the mornings to moisturize my skin and it also works as a primer before I put my foundation on. The scent is very nice and it absorbes so easy. The packaging is also so nice and it's such a luxurious product. The only disadvantage is that it doesn't has a pump and you have to get it out with your fingers.

I've used it for 3 weeks now and my skin feels hydrated and hasn't any dry patches anymore. It awakens me in the mornings and keeps my skin hydrated all day. Finally it also has SPF 20 so it protects your skin from the sun and doesn't let acne scars or decoloration to get darker. So it's perfect for spring and summer! Did anyone already try it out? Schwarzkopf - Essence Ultîme Review

This time of the year my long hair always gets very dry and just looks so crispy at the ends and not shiny at all. So I was mainly after a shampoo, conditioner and hair mask that makes my hair look healthy and hydrated.

Well I went to the drugstore and normally I love the John Frieda haircare-products, but I wanted to try out something new. Then I saw the new product line of Schwarzkopf in collaboration with the supermodel Claudia Schiffer called 'Essence Ultime'.

There are many different products with different effects on the hair. But I choose the 'OMEGA REPAIR'. It's for repairing damaged and depleted hair. The nourishing formula isn't greasy at all! You can already feel on your wet hair that it's so soft and it also detangles the hair.

It's perfect because they add a little bit of moisture, it repairs the damage and just leaves the hair beautiful and super fluffy. I've been trying them out for 2 weeks now and my hair feels much more hydrated and looks so shiny. And the smell of the products is just incredible. It smells so divine and feminin.

It's from the drugstore but it's so luxurious like a high end product and the packaging also looks so elegant.

Lancôme - La vie est belle - Eau de Parfum

The countdown for spring is starting, only 7 days to go. So it's time for changes to adapt to the beautiful season, when the flowers are blooming and the temperature is rising. My all-time favorite fragrance is the Lancôme 'La vie est belle'. 

The smell is just amazing! It's very girly, but also sophisticated and it always reminds me of candy. Iris is the key ingredient of the perfume, surrounded by orange blossoms and jasmine in the heart. The composition’s opening provides fruity flavors of black currant and pear, while the base is warm, gourmand and powdery due to almond-like accords of tonka bean, praline, patchouli and vanilla. Housed in the beautiful packaging it meets the demands on Lancôme-products. And not to forget about the sweet bow on top of the bottle. 

If you're looking for something sweet that makes you happy you should definitely go and get it! It's perfect for springtime. Tell me if you also like it! :)
