BH Cosmetics - Carli Bybel Palette

Donnerstag, 25. Februar 2016
I’ve been watching Carli Bybels videos for a while now and I absolutely love her. She does such amazing videos and she recently brought out her own palette with BH Cosmetics. Go and watch her videos!

I don’t even know where to start because I love this palette.
The palette contains 10 eyeshadows, 3 highlighter and 1 bronzer.
The eyeshadows are very smooth, buttery, pigmented, easy to blend and longlasting. The colors are amazing and you could do so many different looks, it’s right up my alley. You could also use a wet brush to get more vibrancy and that foiled look. But I have to admit there’s a bit of powder kicking off.
The highlighter are also #onfleek. They give you a very intense glow, so if you don’t like that this palette is not for you. I also think that the bronzer is a bit too shimmery. I prefer my bronzer to be matte or with a light shine. So I use it on top of the bronzer for a glow or as an eyeshadow. The only thing I don’t love about this palette is the packaging, but I can except that for the price.

The lasting power of this palette is amazing, it’s sooo affordable and the best thing about it is that it's cruelty free! I really enjoy and recommend this palette. Go and get it until it’s gone, because it’s limited edition. You can get it here.

New Skincare Holy Grails

Dienstag, 16. Februar 2016
I love highend skincare and I think it's really worth to invest in your skincare. You don't want to use cheap products which contain bad ingredients, it won't help your skin it'll just make everything worse. And if you have good skin you don't need to invest so much money for makeup to cover all the problems. I've been trying out a few new highend products and I don't want to spoil anything but they're AWESOME.

Estée Lauder - Clear Difference Advanced Blemish Serum

I know it very pricey but this incredible serum immidiately helps to save blemish prone skin. I just apply it at night after I've cleansed and toned my face. You may know that I have combo skin but it's also dehydrated and blemish prone. After you've applied this at night your skin will look amazing in the morning! My skin always looks much more clear and all the little bumps disappear. Most of the blemish treatments really dry my skin out and then it gets more aggravated. This serum doesn't do any of that it's almost like it helps with everything - clearing, hydrating and giving a glow to the skin. It's my absolute holy grail in my skincare routine.

Clinique - Sweet Pots Sugar Scrub & Lip Balm (Nr. 01 Red Velvet)

These sweet pots are new releases by Clinique. I first saw them on Estée Lalonde's snapchat a few weeks ago and had to try them. There's a huge color selection, but I like tinted lipbalms to be redy-berry-colored so I chose the color 'red velvet'. Who doesn't like red velvet?! This lipbalm has a sugar scrub at the bottom and the lipbalm is on top. It's perfect for travelling you don't have to take both products with you. The sugar scrub is very gentle and it doesn't has any fragrance to it. Just apply it and then rub it off with a tissue - done. It's so fast and easy and your lips will look so smooth afterwards ready to apply any lipstick. The lipbalm is very hydrating and leaves a beautiful glossy but sheer tined look on the lips. I haven't used any other lipbalm since I got this - so it's also my new holy grail in my skincare routine.

Have you already tried this products? Which are your skin saviours?

5 New Highend & Drugstore Lipsticks

Montag, 15. Februar 2016
I'm always trying out new lipsticks and I get so excited when something new launches. Some of these lipsticks are not really new releases but they're new to my makeup stash.

1. L'oréal - Infallible Matte Max (004 Oops I Pink It Again)
2. Bobbi Brown - Luxe Lip Color (Neutral Rose)
3. H&M - Cream Lip Color (Pomegranate)
4. MAC - Lipstick (Craving)
5. Tom Ford - Lips and Boys (Nr.18 Addison)

1. L'oréal

These lip pens are new at the drugstore. They claim that you can do ombre or bold looks with them. They also claim that the micro-oils give a velvet-soft feel and that they're longlasting. And I have to agree. They feel so soft on the lips and they are very longlasting. I wore this pinky-red color on Valentine's Day and it stayed perfectly on even after I ate a pizza. You can apply a sheer layer or you can really built it up. The packaging is also very convenient. It's very slim and the shape helps you to be very precise. Unfortunately they're a little bit drying out the lips and they aren't very cheap for the drugstore.

2. Bobbi Brown

Bobbi Brown lipsticks and theire products in general are just so unique and amazing. With this Kylie-Jenner-esque pinky-browny lipstick you immidiately can get a full color coverage with only one stroke and it makes your lips look very plump and it doesn't settle into the fine lines. This lipstick is also very longlasting and you can barely feel them on the lips. The gold lipstick bullet is also so gorgeous. It's a highend product so it's not very cheap but it's worth the money.

3. H&M

I still love this red lipstick even if it's not so longlasting like the others but you can read more about it in my H&M Beauty Line Review.

4. MAC

MAC lipsticks just smell amazing! No other lipstick has such a nice, sweet scent. The formula is so  hydrating and longlasting. It makes your lips look so full and perfect - almost like you had lip injections. I think especially this matte nude-pinky-berry color is very unique and perfect for a night out. The color is a little bit darker that the normal nudes and it's smudgeproof.

5. Tom Ford

Tom Ford products are always a special treat and a very nice gift. This nude lipstick is from the lips and boys collection and it's limited edition. They're just half the size of the normal Tom Ford lipsticks and they come in different shades. They also have such a nice sweet scent to them and they're very longlasting and hydrating on the lips. They're just like no other lipstick I know. Arent't they cute?

Which is your favorite lipstick? Do you prefer lighter or darkes shades? Tell me in the comments below!

Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation Review

Samstag, 13. Februar 2016
I'm a huge fan of the Chanel Les Beiges range and the Les Beiges powder is just all kinds of amazing. Like I've mentioned in previous posts I have combination skin a sometimes foundations can make me look too glowy almost sweaty, so I was a bit skeptical at the beginning.

Even if I have combination skin it's also dehydrated and it can look very dull sometimes. And this foundation really helps to give you that 'glow from within' and doesn't make you look sweaty. The formula is so lightweight and it gives a light to medium coverage, but you also can built it up. You can barely feel it on your skin and it's not sticky at all. If you don't like strong scented foundations this is not for you, but I really enjoy it and the smell doesn't linger on the skin. This foundation is very similar to the Vitalumier Aqua but the consistence is not as runny and watery and the packaging is also better - it comes in a sleek glass bottle and it has a pump. For the application I use a buffing brush, it's so easy to blend it out you could even use your fingers. The longevity is just incredible - it last's all day long even on the oily parts of the face like the nose. I'm using the shade 'N20' and it makes my skin look so smooth and it evens out my skintone (have a lot of redness and acne scars). If you have combination or oily skin I would recommend using a powder on top.

I have to say that I like it more than the Vitalumier Aqua and the shade range is so much better! Did you try it? Do you prefer a luminous or a matte look? I think that you can only get it at the Chanel counter at the moment.

The Manizer Sisters AKA The Luminizers

Freitag, 12. Februar 2016
The Balm is absolutely an underrated brand. I've only heard some blogger and youtuber talk about the highlighter, so I wanted to try it because I'm all about the glow and the #highlightonfleek.

This palette contains 3 different highlighter. 'Mary-Lou Manizer' a light golden highlighter, 'Cindy-Lou Manizer' a pinky highlighter, and 'Betty-Lou Manizer' a more browny highlighter. First, I think the names are hilarious! The packaging is amazing especially for travelling and there's also a mirror in the palette. It's so lightweight, sleek, and it won't break in your suitcase. The pigmentation is also perfect, it's so buttery and soft. It's one of my favorite highlighting products because it's so subtle that you can wear it in the daytime but you can really built it up for the nighttime.
You could also use the pinky highlighter as a blush and the browny highlighter as a bronzer.  There's something for everyone and every skintone in this palette.

What else would you recommend from the Balm? It would be lovely if you would share your favorites with me!

Urban Decay Naked 3 Review

Donnerstag, 11. Februar 2016
The excitement is always very big in the beauty community when a new Naked palette is released. Personally I don't like the new Naked Smoky palette, because the colors seem to be to dark. I’ve always wanted to get a Naked palette but I didn’t know which one I’d wear most. So I chose the Naked 3, because everything is rose gold and so shiny.

1. Strange                      7. Nooner
2. Dust                           8. Liar
3. Burnout                      9. Factory
4. Limit                         10. Mugshot
5. Buzz                         11. Darkside
6. Trick                         12. Blackheart

Packaging:
The tin is so beautiful and more practical that the packaging of the Naked 1. It’s easy to keep it clean and I’ve already mentionend that it’s rose gold. Like all the Naked paltettes it comes with a big mirror and a double ended brush (amazing for travelling).

Shades:
All the shades have a beautiful rose golden undertone. Even the taupes are quite golden and warm toned. There are 4 glitter shadows and they don't have any fallout because of the micro-glitter which makes them so soft. There are also two matte shades, one satin shade and the rest are mixed shimmery-satin shades. Urban Decay eyeshadows never disappoint and are so longlasting.

I personally love this palette and my favorite shades are ‚dust’, ‚buzz’, ‚trick’, ‚liar’ and ‚mugshot’. I also think this palette would suit a lot of different skin tones. There’s something for cold-toned and warm-toned lover. It’s just a bit different to the normal neutral eyeshadow palettes.

It’s defefently worth the price. Do you have a Naked palette? Which is your favorite shade?

Jaclyn Hill X Becca Cosmetics Champagne Pop

Montag, 8. Februar 2016

I have to admit that I love watching Jaclyn Hill’s videos! I’m a total fangirl and I love her makeup tutorials. I’ve seen her collaboration with Becca and so many people talked about her new product 'champagne pop'. I was so diasapointed that it was only available at Sephora. So I got mega excited when I found out that I can get it on cultbeauty or spacenk.

This product totally gives you a #highlightonfleek. Jaclyn Hill is obsessed with highlighter so she did an amazing product. It also became my favorite powder highlighter and is an essential in my everyday makeup routine.

I also love the sleek Becca-packaging and the color of the highlighter is the perfect mix of golden and champagne tones. It's also very impressive that you can really see it on the skin, because most highlighter don't even show up. The pigmentation is amazing but you only need a tiny bit because you don’t want to look sweaty just glowy.

As I said it’s my favorite highlighter and I highly recommend it. Have you tryed it? Do you prefer powder or cream highlighter?
