New Skincare Holy Grails

Dienstag, 16. Februar 2016
I love highend skincare and I think it's really worth to invest in your skincare. You don't want to use cheap products which contain bad ingredients, it won't help your skin it'll just make everything worse. And if you have good skin you don't need to invest so much money for makeup to cover all the problems. I've been trying out a few new highend products and I don't want to spoil anything but they're AWESOME.

Estée Lauder - Clear Difference Advanced Blemish Serum

I know it very pricey but this incredible serum immidiately helps to save blemish prone skin. I just apply it at night after I've cleansed and toned my face. You may know that I have combo skin but it's also dehydrated and blemish prone. After you've applied this at night your skin will look amazing in the morning! My skin always looks much more clear and all the little bumps disappear. Most of the blemish treatments really dry my skin out and then it gets more aggravated. This serum doesn't do any of that it's almost like it helps with everything - clearing, hydrating and giving a glow to the skin. It's my absolute holy grail in my skincare routine.

Clinique - Sweet Pots Sugar Scrub & Lip Balm (Nr. 01 Red Velvet)

These sweet pots are new releases by Clinique. I first saw them on Estée Lalonde's snapchat a few weeks ago and had to try them. There's a huge color selection, but I like tinted lipbalms to be redy-berry-colored so I chose the color 'red velvet'. Who doesn't like red velvet?! This lipbalm has a sugar scrub at the bottom and the lipbalm is on top. It's perfect for travelling you don't have to take both products with you. The sugar scrub is very gentle and it doesn't has any fragrance to it. Just apply it and then rub it off with a tissue - done. It's so fast and easy and your lips will look so smooth afterwards ready to apply any lipstick. The lipbalm is very hydrating and leaves a beautiful glossy but sheer tined look on the lips. I haven't used any other lipbalm since I got this - so it's also my new holy grail in my skincare routine.

Have you already tried this products? Which are your skin saviours?

New (life-changing) Skincare – REN Rosa Centifolia Cleansing Gel

Dienstag, 17. März 2015
I have acne prone – combination – dehydrated – sensitive skin (can’t get any worse I have it all) and my complexion always has blemishes. So I’m obsessed with my skincare routine and I don’t ever miss a step. Since I’m using the Clarins Lotus Oil (for over one year) I don’t have those really bad, red, angry and deep under the skin horrible monsters anymore. Recently I ran out of my Clarins Cleanser and I decided to try a new one. I’ve heared so many good things about Ren skincare so I chose the Ren Rosa Centifolia Cleansing Gel. And after using it for 2 weeks my skin is cleared up and never looked so good before.

This cleanser is for normal to blemish prone skin and it comes in a plastic bottle, which is perfect for traveling and it also has a pump. The formula is a very liquidy gel and one pump is perfect for the whole face and neck. I like to massage it in for a few minutes and I also let it sit on my face (until I wash my teeth) before rinsing it off. It really cleanses, smooths, refines, but it also calms the skin. The rose centifolia is supposed to be firming and anti-inflammatory. It really does what it says on the tin – it calms, doensn’t drys out and makes the skin look radiant. Plus it’s without parabens, sulfates, phthalates and it smells like a rose garden in the summer. My new favorite and life-changing cleanser – you have to try it out!

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water Review

Donnerstag, 22. Januar 2015
I’m always excited for new skincare, so when I spotted these at the drugstore I had to try it all out! I’ve already mentioned in my morning & evening skincare routine that I have dehydrated, blemish prone combination skin.

Express 2in1 eye make up remover

I have very sensitive eyes and I hate those eye make up remover, which leave an oily film on the skin. Non-oil based eye makeup remover are usually not very effective in removing the mascara (not to mention waterproof mascara). But this one is so good and not oily at all. It gets all the mascara and eyeliner and it also is a treatment for you lashes.

Micellar Cleansing Water – for normal & sensitive skin

I use this micellar cleansing water to remove my make up. The formula seems like normal water and it doesn’t have a smell, so it won’t irritate your skin. It removes all the make up and you don’t have to use a messy cleansing balm/oil. But I didn’t like this one, even it’s for sensitive skin, I noticed that my skin felt a little bit dry and so tight after I’ve used it.

Micellar Cleansing Water – for dry & sensitive skin

Well this pink one is different to the rose one. It doesn’t stip the skin and it feels so moisturized after using it. I definitely recommend to get this one and it’s so affordable and the big bottle is so big (400 ml).

Micellar Claensing Water – for blemish prone skin

This micellar cleansing water is for oily and blemish prone skin. I use this as a toner after I’ve cleansed and it doesn’t dry the skin out at all. I think because it doesn’t contains alcohol it’s so hydrating and you can even use it if you don’t have oily skin.

You can buy it here.

Top 5: Moisturized Skin

Montag, 19. Januar 2015
I have very dry skin so I need to moisturize my body after every shower. I also like it when body lotions or creams smell like fruit or flowers. It’s important to hydrate your body because your skin will definitely look better and it won’t be itchy. To be sure that the moistuizer sinks in very quickly you need to apply it after a shower.

Nivea Cream Peeling

So to be sure that the moistuizer sinks in very quickly you first need to remove all the dead skin. A quick and easy way is a body peeling like this one from Nivea. You apply it like a shower gel and massage it in (it’s not harsh at all). Afterwords your skin will be so smooth and the body lotion or body cream will sink in immidiately.

The Body Shop Body Cream (scent: Papaya)

I usually don’t like thick body creams but this one isn’t sticky it all. You just have to apply a thin layer and massage it in. I especially like it when my skin is very dry. It’s a super quick way to moistuize and you will smell so fresh and fruity.

Bath & Body Works Body Lotion (scent: sweet pea)

If you don’t have a lot of time you should apply a body lotion instead of a body cream. It sinks in even better and you don’t have to really work it in. This one makes my skin so smooth and the scent is amazing but more suble.

Victoria’s Secret Hand & Body Cream (scent: Pure Seduction Bloom)

I think this body cream is perfect for summer. The formula isn’t thick like a body cream I think it’s more like a body lotion and it sinks in very quickly. It moisturizes very well and the scent is amazing – there’s also a body mist from the same range, but it was limited edition.

The Body Shop Bodylotion (scent: Japanese Cherry Blossom)

Like I’ve already mentioned if you don’t have the time to work a body cream in you should apply a body lotion. This one is perfect if you don’t want the smell to linger around. It’s so subtle but you smell the fresh scent if you smell your skin but I don’t think that it’s to obvious in your face. The formula is almost like milk and I think it sinks in the fastest of them all.
