Valentine's Gift Guide For Her

It's almost Valentine's Day and if you're looking for a present for your girlfriend or female loved one look this way. I think it's a nice gesture to give someone a present on Valentine's Day to show that you care about that person and just to make them happy. So I picked some love-related, nice things that every girl would love.

Almost every girl loves parfumes, especially gift sets, because you usually get a bodylotion or another little sample with the perfume. The heart-shaped box is also beautiful and you can show someone your love. The smell is very deep and sweet, it's just amazing for this cold season.

Red Roses are a symbol for love. So if you only got together or you just want to show someone your love give them some red roses. It don't has to be a big bouquet if it's not in your budget, just give them one beautiful red rose and they'll be happy.

Like I've already mentioned, I think every girl likes perfumes, but if you want something more special Jo Malone colognes are perfect. The smell of this one is really fresh and girly and I think it you can wear it in every season. But Jo Malone is pretty pricey so this would be a rather indulgent gift.

If you really want to spoil someone get her a MK bag. I think their handbags are just beautiful and it's high quality. It'll last forever and it's so luxurious.

I adore nail polish and I think most of the girls do. So this box includes 7 different shades so there is something for everyone. The packaging is really nice and Alexa Chung is just amazing!

If the girl likes make up this palette is perfect for an everyday look. This eyeshadow contains 12 pinky-golden, shimmery and matte shades. I'd love to get one! 

Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil Review

My skin is always dehydrated so I like to reach for facial oils, because they sink in so quickly and help to hydrate and smooth everything. So obviously I was so excited when I found out that Clarins is doing a lip oil.

The new Garden Escape Collection from Clarins is just beautiful! So they released these lip comforting oils in two shades, 01 Honey and 02 Raspberry. I have the color 01 Raspberry and it’s only slightly tined but very glossy on the lips. I love the big foam applicator, because it covers the lip in just one swipe. The plant formula is 100% natural and not very liquidy, it’s almost like non-sticky honey. It feels very lovely on the lips and even when it sinks in you can still feel that your lips are nourished and balmy. The fragrance of this one really smells like raspberry, but it’s not too intensive. I use it as a lip balm or on top of a lipstick to make it look glossy and juicy.

Max Factor Facefinity All Day Primer Review

For those days where foundation disappears, especially in summer, I like to use a primer to increase the logevity of my foundation and to make everything stay in place.

Max Factor’s Facefinity All Day Primer is fantastic. My moisturizer doesn’t has SPF so this one adds the protection with SPF 20. It leaves a velvety finish on the skin, but it’s not slippy so the foundation can still stick to it. The formula is very liquidy and you can’t feel it on the skin. Don’t be scaraed by the white color it’s translucent on the skin and it just makes foundation last all day even if you’re a sweaty betty after runing to uni (like me). My foundations always fades like around my nose, on my forehead and on the chin, but 2 pumps of this all over your face ensures that your foundation doesn’t goes anywhere. 

New In From Bourjois

I'm always on the hunt for products that makes my skin look flawless. So when I saw this products on asos I wanted to give them a go and as always I'm very impressed by Bourjois! 

Healthy Balance Powder (shade: Nr. 53 Clear Beige) 

It’s a dupe for the Chanel Les Beiges Powder. It’s a light powder that sets foundation without taking the glow away or being cakey on the skin. The texture is very fine and it’s also perfect for setting concealer as it leaves a tiny hint of coverage.

Silk Edition Compact Powder (shade: Nr. 53 Golden Beige)

This is similar to the healthy balance powder but it gives more coverage, blures everything and adds more luminosity. I use just a light layer on my skin to set my foundation and concealer and to take the oilyness away.

123 Perfect CC Cream (shade: Light Beige)

If I have a good skin day I like to use a light base just to even out my skintone and for that I love CC Creams (Color correcting). When it comes out of the packaging it looks like a light and liquid foundation, but the coverage isn’t enough to replace a foundation. It’s very hydrating and just leaves a beautiful glowy finish.
