Clinique Pop Collection

Montag, 14. März 2016
Every brand is launching their new spring collections. So is Clinique, which is also one of my favorite highend brands and it's not too expensive. Seriously how cute are the new eyeshadows and blushes?

Cheek Pop, Pop Lacquer, Lip Pop, Lid Pop

Cheek Pop, Lid Pop, Pop Lacquer, Lip Pop

Lid Pop (shade: Cocoa Pop)
The new powder eyeshadows are just beautiful! I mean look at the embossed gerber daisy! heart-eyes-emoji They’re silky smooth. blendable, long wearing and richly pigmented. They are very sheer and perfect for an everyday makeup look, but you can also build it up to get more color intensity. Almost every eyeshadow creases on my oily eyelids if I don’t use a primer but these do not crease at all even without a primer. I love this medium/dark brown color. It’s very muted but it also has a sheen and it’s warm toned. I think it has very unique formula!

Cheek Pop (shade: berry pop)
I already own a few cheek pops from the old collection and I got so excited when I found out that they're bringing out new shades. So the blush also has that beautifully embossed flower. It's longwearing, buildable, smooth and blendable. It also has that weird (in a good way) formula, it's powderless and it looks very natural and glowy almost like a cream blush. Luckily it doesn't exagerates the pores and it doesn't disappears even if I have combination skin. The formula is also very sheer but you can build it up and look more vibrant. I love the easy clear packaging and it's so tiny perfect for travelling. This blushes are especially perfect for spring and summer.

This lip product is pigmented, bright, hydrating and it has a high shine. You can get full coverage in just one swipe. It's nice that it leaves a stain after it wears off - that's the last positive thing I can say about it. It has a build-in primer so it's supposed to be longlasting, but it wears off really fast. Besides it's so sticky, I wouldn't wear it on a windy day! Unfortunately it's "just" a lipgloss and I expected a lot more.

Lip Pop - Lip Color And Primer (shade: 14 Plum Pop)

This lipstick also has a build-in primer and it really lasts very long on the lips. It's a stunning Kylie-Jenner-esque mauve-berry-nude color and it glides on effortlessly. It's also lightweight and not drying, but it's neither glossy nor matte it almost has a velvet finish. And it's also amazing for sensible people because it's fragrance free.

I didn't like the lip lacquer but I'll definitely try more blushes and eyeshadows. I can't decide which colors I should choose. There are soo many colors!! Which one would you chose or do you have? You need these products in your life!

L'Oréal Paris Indefectible Sculpt Range Review

Donnerstag, 10. März 2016
L'Oréal Paris - one of my favorite brands have an exciting new range, which is all about sculpting the face.

Indefectible Sculpt Base, Contour Palette, Blushes, Color Riche Le Vernis À L'Huile (shade: 224 Rose Ballet, 552 Rubis Folies)

Let's start with Indefectible Sculpt Base, which is especially made for sculpting. It's lighter than a foundation but it still gives a good light to medium coverage. The formula is also very watery and lightweight and it gives a beautiful luminous look to the skin. This product claims that it helps sculpting products adhere better on top of it and it's supposed to be very longlasting. And I have to agree it really does all the things. The only con about the product is that there's only 3 different shades.

Indefectible Sculpt Foundation (Medium - 2D/2W Radiant)

The next product is the Indefectible Sculpt Palette, which contains a creamy contour and highlight. It really helps to give your face more dimension and to chisel out those cheekbones (which are like non-existing on my round face). It's also a cream to powder formula so it ensures to look natural but also be longlasting. And all the shades are matte - Great!

Indefectible Sculpt Contour Palette (shade: 100 Light)

For more color on the face there's the Indefectible Sculbt Blushes with 3 different shades in each tin. You can dip you brush in only one color or you can mix them all together. I prefer mixing them, because the highlight shade gives the perfect luminous pop of color.

Indefectible Sculpt Trio Blush (shade: 201 Soft Rosy)

Indefectible Sculpt Trio Blush (shade: 101 Soft Sand)

Lastly L'Oréal also have the new Color Riche Le Vernis À L'Huile. The nailpolish is infused with oil so it's good for your nails and it also makes the nailpolish look so shiny and even. For the most colors you only need one coat but I like to apply two coats so it's more longlasting and it's not chipping.

All the drugstore products are really affordable and have great quality. You should go and try them! Or have you already tried anything?

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush & Bronzer

Donnerstag, 22. Oktober 2015
I saw the beautiful limited edition Ambient Lighting Edit Palette on net-a-porter but it's sold out so I wanted to get a full-sized bronzer and blusher. I think bronzer and blusher make such a big difference how you look. I personally have very big cheeks so I feel more confident when I wear these products.

Ambient Lighting Bronzer (shade: Luminous Bronze)

I'm blown away by the quality of Hourglass-products. There are two different bronzer shades. One is lighter and cooler and this one is darker and warmer. I prefer to look a little more sunkissed so this color is perfect. The most important thing for me is that it's longlasting and pigmented. You only need to tap you brush into the bronzer and it makes your complexion so radiant and perfect. This bronzer ticks every box of my criteria. I really recommend it if you're looking for an highend bronzer.

Ambient Lighting Blush (shade: Diffused Heat)

I'm also in love with this blush. The quality is as good as the quality of the bronzer. Swirled together with the Ambient Lighting Powder in Diffused Light, it's so luminous and glowy on the cheeks. It can be sheer but you can build it up so easily.

I'll definitely try some more shades soon. Did you try any? Which is your favorite color?

CHANEL - Jardin de Chanel Blush Camélia Rosé

Montag, 16. März 2015
Chanel always has one of the most exciting spring collections. This year it’s called the Rêvier Parisienne collection. The one thing that caught my eyes from this collection is the Jardin de Chanel Blush Camélia Rosé.

First, look at the beautiful embossed flowers. This is definetly something for any makeup-hoarder! The shade is a mix of light pink with dark rose and the formula is matte, but it really perks up the cheeks and makes you look so luminous.
This blush a perfect subtle daily blusher for every makeup look. It’s a little bit smaller than the other Chanel blushers, but it’s a powder blush with amazing pigmentation. You should apply it with a blush brush and I think it’s perfect for light to medium skin color.
The packaging is so luxe as always and it’s also very handy with the little brush to retouch if you’re on the go.

Sadly it’s limited edition but you still can still get it. Will you try it?

You can get it here or at the Chanel counters.

Favorite Blushes

Freitag, 2. Januar 2015

All the blushes are perfect in terms of pigmentation, formula and colour - can you see the peachy-pink-theme? *hint-hint*

The Revlon Powder Blush in 010 Classy Coral is a matte peachy coral. Because of the amazing pigmentation you only need a tiny amount on your brush and just blend it on your cheeks and you are good to go. It’s giving a bronzy glow without actually adding any bronze. It doesn’t sit on top oft he skin like some powder formulas, instead it blends in flawlessly. Plus you also get a brush.

The Smashbox Halo Long Wear Blush in „in bloom“ is also a peachy-pink. I’ve never had a blush before that you can grind by yourself. It instantly perks up your cheeks and gives lumnous and lit-from-within flush. In terms of longevity this little number really stands out, the color hardly fades after a long day and it’s super finely milled. Awesome.

The Clinique Cheeck Pop’s have such an unique formula. It’s a powder/cream texture that blends beautifully over the cheeks. The pigmentation is good you can wear it as a sheer wash of color or you can really build it up. The peachy-pink and the pink are my favorites of the collection. They were limited edition so I don’t know if you can still get them.

If you’re looking for a blush for summer look this way! Maybelline brought out two limited edition bushes last summer, but I think you can’t still get them somewhere on the Internet. There are a pink and peachy-pink. Because of the warm colors I think they’re more for a bronzy summer-look, but the pigementation is awesome and long-wearing.

New Pics From Maybelline, Clinique & Dior

Donnerstag, 4. September 2014

1. The new Maybelline Colorelixir Lipgloss in "710 Rose Redefined" is my new favorite lipproduct. I'm so impressed how good the color matches my lips and makes them look fuller and glossy. The formula is amazingly comfortable on the lips - it's not sticky at all and just feels like a balm. Because it's so moisturizing it doesn't cling to dry patches and the lastingpower is even better than I've expected it to be. I'm definitely gonna try out more of the 11 shades.

2. The new Chubby Stick Cheek Colour Balm from Clinique (in "Rhobust Rhubarb)" are worth the hype. The creme formula makes them so easy to apply, you don't even need brushes, just use your fingers. They're perfect for girls who don't have time in the mornings to be bothered by blending (like me).

3. The Mascara of Dior called "Dior Iconic Overcurl" in "Nr. 090 Catwalk Black" is super volumizing, lengthening and curling the lashes. I, personally have short lashes and it really makes them look like flash lashes. I would recommend it to everyone it's my new favorite Mascara, I even like it more than the Mascara of "YSL" call "Shocking".
