BH Cosmetics - Carli Bybel Palette

I’ve been watching Carli Bybels videos for a while now and I absolutely love her. She does such amazing videos and she recently brought out her own palette with BH Cosmetics. Go and watch her videos!

I don’t even know where to start because I love this palette. 
The palette contains 10 eyeshadows, 3 highlighter and 1 bronzer.
The eyeshadows are very smooth, buttery, pigmented, easy to blend and longlasting. The colors are amazing and you could do so many different looks, it’s right up my alley. You could also use a wet brush to get more vibrancy and that foiled look. But I have to admit there’s a bit of powder kicking off.
The highlighter are also #onfleek. They give you a very intense glow, so if you don’t like that this palette is not for you. I also think that the bronzer is a bit too shimmery. I prefer my bronzer to be matte or with a light shine. So I use it on top of the bronzer for a glow or as an eyeshadow. The only thing I don’t love about this palette is the packaging, but I can except that for the price.

The lasting power of this palette is amazing, it’s sooo affordable and the best thing about it is that it's cruelty free! I really enjoy and recommend this palette. Go and get it until it’s gone, because it’s limited edition. You can get it here.

Valentine's Gift Guide For Her

It's almost Valentine's Day and if you're looking for a present for your girlfriend or female loved one look this way. I think it's a nice gesture to give someone a present on Valentine's Day to show that you care about that person and just to make them happy. So I picked some love-related, nice things that every girl would love.

Almost every girl loves parfumes, especially gift sets, because you usually get a bodylotion or another little sample with the perfume. The heart-shaped box is also beautiful and you can show someone your love. The smell is very deep and sweet, it's just amazing for this cold season.

Red Roses are a symbol for love. So if you only got together or you just want to show someone your love give them some red roses. It don't has to be a big bouquet if it's not in your budget, just give them one beautiful red rose and they'll be happy.

If you know someone that is into beauty and likes to wear lipstick this'll be a beautiful present. It's not to pricey, but very luxe and awesome for a beauty junkie. 

4. Thomas Sabo Glam & Soul Ring (shade: rose gold) - $ 219

If your relationship is going on for a little bit longer and it's serious, a ring would show how much you care about her and that you're bonded. This ring is so sublte and goes with everything, but it's a very generous present. And every girl loves jewelry. 

5. Johnston Plain Lambswool Scarf (shade: grey) - £ 25

It's february but it's still freezing, so a scarf is perfect to keep someone warm and cozy. It's a very soft scarf, that can be worn everyday and lasts for years. And it's more affordable in comparison to the other highend products that I've mentioned (or will mention). 

6. Diptique 3 Mini Candles (scent: baies, figuier, roses) - £ 60

Candles are perfect for a romantic and cozy feeling. The scents of Diptique candles are all beautiful and they burn so long and the scent really fills up the room. Perfect for a date night at home. 

7. Jo Malone Cologne (scent: peony & blush suede) - £ 40

Like I've already mentioned, I think every girl likes perfumes, but if you want something more special Jo Malone colognes are perfect. The smell of this one is really fresh and girly and I think it you can wear it in every season. But Jo Malone is pretty pricey so this would be a rather indulgent gift. 

8. Michael Kors Sutton Saffiano Leather Large Satchel - $ 368

If you really want to spoil someone get her a MK bag. I think their handbags are just beautiful and it's high quality. It'll last forever and it's so luxurious. 

9. Nails Inc The Alexa Editions Collection - £ 45

I adore nail polish and I think most of the girls do. So this box includes 7 different shades so there is something for everyone. The packaging is really nice and Alexa Chung is just amazing!


10. Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette - £ 38

If the girl likes make up this palette is perfect for an everyday look. This eyeshadow contains 12 pinky-golden, shimmery and matte shades. I'd love to get one! 

Top 5: Palettes and Quads

When It comes to wearing eyeshadows palettes & quads are just the thing that I reach for the most. They’re very easy and travel-friendly and it’s easy to pick out a few colors. It’s like the colors are already picked out for you. Because almost every eyeshadow creases on me I use a eyeshadow primer before so all of them are long wearing.

L’oreal Quad (Color Riche Les Ombres – shade: E1 Beige Trench)

The first one is a quad and comes from L’oreal. It’s from the drugstore so the price is very affordable and it’s easy to get a hold of.  The colors are very shimmery but I think they are also wearable and sutble for the day time. The color combination is perfect and the quality is also great.

Clinique Quad (All About Shadow Quad - shade: 06 Pink Chocolate)

Because I’m a fan of golden, bronzy and champagny eyeshadows this palette isn’t a typical color selection for me. It contains pinks with a brown undertone and light/dark browns. The formula is so creamy and easy to blend. I love this palette for the day time and it really brings out brown eyes.

MAC Quad (Devilish Dark – shades: Manila Paper – Goldmine – Honey Lust – Devilishly Dark)

This quad is one of my favorite ever! It’s easy to wear and and very neutral. I also use the brown shade to do my eyebrows. You can do a neutral eye or more a smockey eye. I love that you can see through MAC-packaging and it’s easy to travel with. A compact choice that’ll cover every neutral eyeshadow decision.

Bobbi Brown Palette (Shimmer Brick Eye Palette – shade: Sequin)

This palette was limited edition but I think it’s still available somewhere online. All the 10 shades are shimmery. The packaging is so beautiful and sleek. Although it's all shimmery it's not in your face and the shades are easy to blend. So it’s a great palette.

Rimmel Quad (Glam Eyes HD – shade: 022 Brixton Brown)

This isn’t really a quad because it contains 5 colors. It's also from the drugstore so it's very affordable. I love the combination I can get from this and I think the shades are more for the fall/winter time or for evenings because you get a really smockey look. All the shades are very blendable and unique. A must-have!
