Clinique Pop Collection

Montag, 14. März 2016
Every brand is launching their new spring collections. So is Clinique, which is also one of my favorite highend brands and it's not too expensive. Seriously how cute are the new eyeshadows and blushes?

Cheek Pop, Pop Lacquer, Lip Pop, Lid Pop

Cheek Pop, Lid Pop, Pop Lacquer, Lip Pop

Lid Pop (shade: Cocoa Pop)
The new powder eyeshadows are just beautiful! I mean look at the embossed gerber daisy! heart-eyes-emoji They’re silky smooth. blendable, long wearing and richly pigmented. They are very sheer and perfect for an everyday makeup look, but you can also build it up to get more color intensity. Almost every eyeshadow creases on my oily eyelids if I don’t use a primer but these do not crease at all even without a primer. I love this medium/dark brown color. It’s very muted but it also has a sheen and it’s warm toned. I think it has very unique formula!

Cheek Pop (shade: berry pop)
I already own a few cheek pops from the old collection and I got so excited when I found out that they're bringing out new shades. So the blush also has that beautifully embossed flower. It's longwearing, buildable, smooth and blendable. It also has that weird (in a good way) formula, it's powderless and it looks very natural and glowy almost like a cream blush. Luckily it doesn't exagerates the pores and it doesn't disappears even if I have combination skin. The formula is also very sheer but you can build it up and look more vibrant. I love the easy clear packaging and it's so tiny perfect for travelling. This blushes are especially perfect for spring and summer.

This lip product is pigmented, bright, hydrating and it has a high shine. You can get full coverage in just one swipe. It's nice that it leaves a stain after it wears off - that's the last positive thing I can say about it. It has a build-in primer so it's supposed to be longlasting, but it wears off really fast. Besides it's so sticky, I wouldn't wear it on a windy day! Unfortunately it's "just" a lipgloss and I expected a lot more.

Lip Pop - Lip Color And Primer (shade: 14 Plum Pop)

This lipstick also has a build-in primer and it really lasts very long on the lips. It's a stunning Kylie-Jenner-esque mauve-berry-nude color and it glides on effortlessly. It's also lightweight and not drying, but it's neither glossy nor matte it almost has a velvet finish. And it's also amazing for sensible people because it's fragrance free.

I didn't like the lip lacquer but I'll definitely try more blushes and eyeshadows. I can't decide which colors I should choose. There are soo many colors!! Which one would you chose or do you have? You need these products in your life!

New Skincare Holy Grails

Dienstag, 16. Februar 2016
I love highend skincare and I think it's really worth to invest in your skincare. You don't want to use cheap products which contain bad ingredients, it won't help your skin it'll just make everything worse. And if you have good skin you don't need to invest so much money for makeup to cover all the problems. I've been trying out a few new highend products and I don't want to spoil anything but they're AWESOME.

Estée Lauder - Clear Difference Advanced Blemish Serum

I know it very pricey but this incredible serum immidiately helps to save blemish prone skin. I just apply it at night after I've cleansed and toned my face. You may know that I have combo skin but it's also dehydrated and blemish prone. After you've applied this at night your skin will look amazing in the morning! My skin always looks much more clear and all the little bumps disappear. Most of the blemish treatments really dry my skin out and then it gets more aggravated. This serum doesn't do any of that it's almost like it helps with everything - clearing, hydrating and giving a glow to the skin. It's my absolute holy grail in my skincare routine.

Clinique - Sweet Pots Sugar Scrub & Lip Balm (Nr. 01 Red Velvet)

These sweet pots are new releases by Clinique. I first saw them on Estée Lalonde's snapchat a few weeks ago and had to try them. There's a huge color selection, but I like tinted lipbalms to be redy-berry-colored so I chose the color 'red velvet'. Who doesn't like red velvet?! This lipbalm has a sugar scrub at the bottom and the lipbalm is on top. It's perfect for travelling you don't have to take both products with you. The sugar scrub is very gentle and it doesn't has any fragrance to it. Just apply it and then rub it off with a tissue - done. It's so fast and easy and your lips will look so smooth afterwards ready to apply any lipstick. The lipbalm is very hydrating and leaves a beautiful glossy but sheer tined look on the lips. I haven't used any other lipbalm since I got this - so it's also my new holy grail in my skincare routine.

Have you already tried this products? Which are your skin saviours?

Top 5: Lip pencils

Samstag, 24. Januar 2015

I love to use a nude or bold lip pencil if I’m in a hurry and you can just throw it in your purse. You don’t need a lip pencil to get a precise look.

Clinique Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Balm (shade: Nr. 13 Mighty Mimosa)

If you’re looking for something easy for an every day basis this is the right one. This peachy color is very sheer and suble, but it’s also glossy and very hydrating. You don’t need a mirror to apply it just swipe it over your lips and it won’t be smudgy. It’s also very benfitial if you have dry lips and you don’t want to use a boring transparent lip balm.

Max Factor Colour Elixir Giant Pen Stick (shade: Nr. 20 Subtle Coral)

This one is also subtable for an every day basis. The coraly shade is not too in your face and just amphs up the complexion. I prefer to wear it in summer when I’m a little bit more bronzed and not so pale like a wall. The formula is very creamy and it’s easy to apply it.

Maybelline Color Drama Lip Pencil (shade: Nr. 140 Minimalist)

The new lip pencils from Maybelline are a dupe for NARS lip pencils! First they’re so affordable and easy to get a hold of, NARS is not shipping to Germany and we don’t have a single counter anywhere. The formula is very creamy and pigmented, but it’s not drying or patchy. This color is a perfect pinky nude.

Maybelline Color Drama Lip Pencil (shade: Nr. 520 Light it up)

This color has the same formula as the nude one but the color is so bold and pigmented. It’s also not drying at all and easy to apply. Perfect for a night out!

NARS Satin Lip Pencil (shade: Luxembourg)

This color is watermelony red with a satin finish. Like I’ve already rambled the Maybelline lip pencils are similar to this ones, but I think no one beats NARS lip products in their longevity. You can eat or drink what you want it stays there, I even have to remove it with a little bit of Garnier micellar cleansing water. This is my favorite ip pencil.
