L'oréal Elvive Extraordinary Oils Shampoo & Conditioner

Sonntag, 15. März 2015
I’m always so thrilled to try new, affordable haircare products from the drugstore and I usually love the products from L’oreal. So this new oil range is for very dry hair and it's supposed to be very nourishing, soothing and it claims not to leave you hair greasy.

There are 2 different shampoos in the 'Elvive Extraordinary Oils' range - one is for 'dry to rough hair' and one is for 'very dry hair'. Because of the cold season I have very dry hair chose the one for very dry hair.
Well I’ve used this two products a few times and I’m so disappointed. I thought that it wouldn’t make my hair look or feel greasy. After I’ve used the shampoo with the conditioner my hair – especially the roots - looked even greasier - almost like I haven’t washed my hair for a week. I've been in a rush and had to put my hair up in a ponytail, otherwise it would've been very embarrassing. The formula is very creamy and heavy and it weights the hair down. I would’t recommend this range, but I love the 'Elvive Fibralogy Thickening' range.

Top 5: Hair masks

Samstag, 17. Januar 2015
I like to use a hair mask every other day, especially after I’ve curled my hair or it feels very dry. All the hair masks that I’m using and loving are simmilar to each other. But I have to say highend hair masks are better and it’s always a special treat for your hair.

Kérastase Nutri-Thermique

This is my favorite hair mask ever. It’s the most hydrating hair mask I’ve ever come across. After I’m using this mask my hair is detangled, smooth, nourished, shiny and frizz-free. I apply it after shampooing and leave it on for 10 minutes or in the evening as a overnight treatment. The smell lingueres around (I love it) but it’s very expensive so it’s also a special treat or a nice present.

Goldwell Rich Repair 60sec Treatment

This one is similar to the Kérastase one but it’s cheaper! It’s so hydrating and when I use it the ends of my hair don’t look dry anymore. What I also like about it you don’t have to leave it on for a long time (it claims that you only need 60 seconds). And it smells like a vanilla bonbon.

Dove Oxygen Souffle

You know I love drugstore products. It’s from the new line from Dove and is so affordable. It’s good for an everyday basis but if you have really dry and damaged hair it won’t make a big difference.

Schwarzkopf Essence Ultîme Omega Repair Intensive-Mask

This hairmask is also from the drugstore. It’s a little bit more nourishing like the Dove one and it smells simillar to the Goldwell one. The line is from the supermodel Claudia Schiffer – so who doesn’t want to have hair like her?

Guhl Intensive-Color-Hair-Mask

I have color treated hair so I want to keep the color for a long time and I also want it to be vibrant and shiny. It’s also very affordable and the smell is so amazing (my favorite smell). You also don’t need to leave it on for more than 5 minutes – so it works really quickly.

John Frieda - Frizz Ease - Miraculous Recovery Review

Freitag, 16. Januar 2015
I have dark brown, very long, colored and dry hair. It always looks dry at the ends when I don’t use moisturizing, repairing products. So I think I found a new perfect line from John Frieda (love all the products) and it’s from the drugstore (yay).

Miraculous Recovery Repairing Shampoo

You have to apply it on wet hair, lather and rinse it off. My hair immidiately feels smoother and nourished. It doesn’t drys out the hair and you can use it on a daily basis. I think it only works if you use it together with the conditioner.

Miraculous Recovery Repairing Conditioner

This Conditioner makes you hair so smooth and the frizz will be gone. It also claims that it „ instantly reverses 75% of surface damage for 3x smoother hair“.  Just apply it on wet hair and massage it in. I usually leave it on for a few minutes and then rinse it off. My hair looks more hydrated and the ends don’t look so crisp and dry.

Daily Miracle Treatment

The leave-in treatment strengthens, helps to repair the hair and it’s also like a moistuirizer for the hair. It makes my hair so smooth, shiny and healthy-looking – maybe because it contains essential vitamins and proteins. You only have to spray it on dry hair after shampooing and conditioning (don’t rinse it out). So easy and it really works.

Product Empties

Mittwoch, 7. Januar 2015
I'm just using something up if I really like it, if I don't like something I just throw it away or I keep it in the back of my drawers, so these are products that I really like. But I'm always asking myself if the product was worth it? would I buy it again? is there something better?

 Moroccain Oil Treatment

I have very long, dry and frizzy hair. This oil is like magic in a bottle! It hydrates, makes your hair look shiny and smooth. The scent is strong but it doesn't lingers around. I've already repurchased this little bottle for the 100th time. Favorite haircare product!!

Vichy Normaderm Hyaluspot

If it's that time of the month or I've eaten a lot of unhealthy food (don't blame me) - I get a few blemishes. The formula is almost like a thick gel and you only need the tiniest bit. I usually put it on over night and in the morning the blemish looks less red and smaller. After 2 days it will be gone! I'll repurchase this, because is very effective and so affordable.

Clarins Lotus Face Treatment Oil

This oil is a staple in my everyday skincare routine. I mostly put it on in the evenings, because it's super oily and I don't want my foundation to slip around or to look too shiny (I have sensitive, dehydrated combination skin). I can't live without this oil anymore!!! It hydrates, gets rid of any dry patches and every single blemish will disappear. My skin looks more radiant, calm and glowy in the morning. I've already repurchased it and always will but it's not very cheap.

L’oreal Makeup Remover for Eyes and Lips

I'm not a cleansing-oil-kind of girl. I'm always using cotton pads and makeup remover, because I think it's less messy. Most of the eye-makeup-remover are not oil based and I think it's so hard to remove eye-makeup with them. So this one is oil-based but it doesn't leaves an oily film on the skin and removes any eyeshadow, eyeliner or mascara with just one swipe. I've already repurchased this and it's so affordable.

Glam Glow Supermud Clearing Treatment

I use a face mask every other day, because I think it clears all the gunk out of the pores and I feel more fresh after using one. This face mask is amazing! It clears out every blemish and blackheads. The scent is very eucalyptusy, which I don't really like. I've not repurchased it yet, because it's very pricey but I will.

Mac Fix +

I'm using a setting spray on a everyday basis. My makeup always seems to disappear after a few hours and I look like I haven't even put any on. So this one prevents from slipping around, smudging and keeps everything in place. It's also hydrating and makes everything looking fresh. I haven't repurchased it, because I'm currently using the Urban Decay setting spray.

La Roche Posay Solution Micellaire Physiologique (Makeup Remover)

Like I've already mentioned I like to use cotton pads and makeup remover. This one is from the pharmacy and so affordable. It feels like water on the skin and gets rid of all the foundation, blush, bronzer and concealer. I've already repurchased this on, because I can't find anything better.
