5 New Highend & Drugstore Lipsticks

I'm always trying out new lipsticks and I get so excited when something new launches. Some of these lipsticks are not really new releases but they're new to my makeup stash. 

1. L'oréal - Infallible Matte Max (004 Oops I Pink It Again)
2. Bobbi Brown - Luxe Lip Color (Neutral Rose)
3. H&M - Cream Lip Color (Pomegranate)
4. MAC - Lipstick (Craving)
5. Tom Ford - Lips and Boys (Nr.18 Addison)

1. L'oréal

These lip pens are new at the drugstore. They claim that you can do ombre or bold looks with them. They also claim that the micro-oils give a velvet-soft feel and that they're longlasting. And I have to agree. They feel so soft on the lips and they are very longlasting. I wore this pinky-red color on Valentine's Day and it stayed perfectly on even after I ate a pizza. You can apply a sheer layer or you can really built it up. The packaging is also very convenient. It's very slim and the shape helps you to be very precise. Unfortunately they're a little bit drying out the lips and they aren't very cheap for the drugstore.

2. Bobbi Brown

Bobbi Brown lipsticks and theire products in general are just so unique and amazing. With this Kylie-Jenner-esque pinky-browny lipstick you immidiately can get a full color coverage with only one stroke and it makes your lips look very plump and it doesn't settle into the fine lines. This lipstick is also very longlasting and you can barely feel them on the lips. The gold lipstick bullet is also so gorgeous. It's a highend product so it's not very cheap but it's worth the money.

3. H&M

I still love this red lipstick even if it's not so longlasting like the others but you can read more about it in my H&M Beauty Line Review.

4. MAC

MAC lipsticks just smell amazing! No other lipstick has such a nice, sweet scent. The formula is so  hydrating and longlasting. It makes your lips look so full and perfect - almost like you had lip injections. I think especially this matte nude-pinky-berry color is very unique and perfect for a night out. The color is a little bit darker that the normal nudes and it's smudgeproof.

5. Tom Ford

Tom Ford products are always a special treat and a very nice gift. This nude lipstick is from the lips and boys collection and it's limited edition. They're just half the size of the normal Tom Ford lipsticks and they come in different shades. They also have such a nice sweet scent to them and they're very longlasting and hydrating on the lips. They're just like no other lipstick I know. Arent't they cute?

Valentine's Gift Guide For Her

It's almost Valentine's Day and if you're looking for a present for your girlfriend or female loved one look this way. I think it's a nice gesture to give someone a present on Valentine's Day to show that you care about that person and just to make them happy. So I picked some love-related, nice things that every girl would love.

Almost every girl loves parfumes, especially gift sets, because you usually get a bodylotion or another little sample with the perfume. The heart-shaped box is also beautiful and you can show someone your love. The smell is very deep and sweet, it's just amazing for this cold season. 

2. Red Roses - 69 €

Red Roses are a symbol for love. So if you only got together or you just want to show someone your love give them some red roses. It don't has to be a big bouquet if it's not in your budget, just give them one beautiful red rose and they'll be happy. 

3. Tom Ford Lip Color  (shade: John) - £ 26

If you know someone that is into beauty and likes to wear lipstick this'll be a beautiful present. It's not to pricey, but very luxe and awesome for a beauty junkie. 

4. Thomas Sabo Glam & Soul Ring (shade: rose gold) - $ 219

If your relationship is going on for a little bit longer and it's serious, a ring would show how much you care about her and that you're bonded. This ring is so sublte and goes with everything, but it's a very generous present. And every girl loves jewelry. 

5. Johnston Plain Lambswool Scarf (shade: grey) - £ 25

It's february but it's still freezing, so a scarf is perfect to keep someone warm and cozy. It's a very soft scarf, that can be worn everyday and lasts for years. And it's more affordable in comparison to the other highend products that I've mentioned (or will mention). 

6. Diptique 3 Mini Candles (scent: baies, figuier, roses) - £ 60

Candles are perfect for a romantic and cozy feeling. The scents of Diptique candles are all beautiful and they burn so long and the scent really fills up the room. Perfect for a date night at home. 

7. Jo Malone Cologne (scent: peony & blush suede) - £ 40

Like I've already mentioned, I think every girl likes perfumes, but if you want something more special Jo Malone colognes are perfect. The smell of this one is really fresh and girly and I think it you can wear it in every season. But Jo Malone is pretty pricey so this would be a rather indulgent gift. 

8. Michael Kors Sutton Saffiano Leather Large Satchel - $ 368

If you really want to spoil someone get her a MK bag. I think their handbags are just beautiful and it's high quality. It'll last forever and it's so luxurious. 

9. Nails Inc The Alexa Editions Collection - £ 45

I adore nail polish and I think most of the girls do. So this box includes 7 different shades so there is something for everyone. The packaging is really nice and Alexa Chung is just amazing!


10. Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette - £ 38

If the girl likes make up this palette is perfect for an everyday look. This eyeshadow contains 12 pinky-golden, shimmery and matte shades. I'd love to get one! 

Top 5: Nude Lipsticks

Confession of the day: I’m a lipstick addict! (lol - not really a surprise)

I’m always after lipsticks that don’t enhance dry, flaking and chaped lips. If I’m wearing a smokey eye (probably every day) I like to wear nude lipsticks. Before I apply lipstick I’m always using a hydrating lipbalm (like the Nuxe Rêve de Miel) and I’m also exfoliating with a q-tip.

Tom Ford Lipstick (shade: Nr. 04 Indian Rose)

This is a dream in a bottle. First, look at the mega luxurious packaging!!! It’s so chic and it also has a magnetic bullet with the satisfying click. The formula is also amazing. Creamy, hydrating and pigmented – everything I’m looking for in a lipstick. I just want to eat it when I smell the sweet scent. The colour which I have is a nude with a pink undertone and it’s perfect for every skintone. My favorite highend lipstick.

                       

L’oréal Color Riche Collection Exclusive ( shade: Heike’s Nude)

I love to try lipsticks from the drugstore. I especially really like the one’s from L’oréal. The formula is so creamy and so darn comfortable on the lips. The pigmentation is good, it applys sheer but you can built it up. It’s perfect for an everyday makeup look. But the only thing I don’t really like about this lipstick ist he strong scent – it smells like cucumber.

Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy Lipstick (shade: Nr. 12 Dynamic) 

I prefer the nudes with a pink undertone. This one is not sticky at all and the finish is not too matte or too glossy. It’s also creamy, hydrating, longlasting  and just looks like your lips but better. Like I’ve mentioned I love the magnetic clip.

Maybelline Color Sensational (shade: Nr. 165 Pink Hurricane) 

This lipstick is also from the drugstore and so affordable. The color selection is so big. I chose this nude with a pink undertone and a little bit of sparkly glitter (fine glitter!). Amazing formula it’s almost like a sheer gloss. The only downside of this product is the pigmentation and the longevity. 

Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Moss (shade: Nr.

How doesn’t want to have lips or wants to wear lipstick like the supermodel Kate Moss. Well I absolutely do. The formula is so creamy, longlasting and it’s not sticky. The finish is matte and it has a brown undertone to it. If you want the supermodel look get this one – you can get it at the drugstore.
